Can I buy one license and use it for multiple clients?

No. One license per legal entity whose data lives in the deployment. If three clients' employee data is in three separate installs, you need three licenses. The $5,000 price is set so this works out economically inside a consulting engagement.

Who buys the license?

The organization that will use Primer. The license is purchased by and belongs to the legal entity whose employee data lives in the deployment. You recommend and deploy Primer, but the organization is the licensee.

Can I rebrand Primer as my own product?

You can rebrand it for each client deployment, their logo, their colors, their wording. You cannot re-sell Primer as your own SaaS product or redistribute the source code. The license is for deployment, not repackaging.

Do I need technical staff to deploy it?

If you can run a Docker command, yes. The download includes step-by-step deployment documentation, database setup scripts, and a plain-language walkthrough. Most consultants with basic IT experience can deploy Primer for a client in under an hour.

Mixing multiple clients' data into one deployment breaks the data-sovereignty model customers buy Primer for in the first place.
